The pattern is written for the following sizes (head circumference):
Baby ( 15-16")
Toddler (17-18")
Child/Teen (19-21”)
Adult (22-23")
MATERIALS:
DK Weight Yarn. I used 5 ply milk cotton.
50g to 100g yarn in color light pink #2 and less than 10g yarn in color peach pink #25 and scrap yarn in color black
4 mm (main hat) and 2.5 mm hook (snout and ears)
Two pieces of 1 cm or small black buttons (for eyes)
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Sewing thread in color black and sewing needle
Tape measure to check if the size chart was met
DIFFICULTY:
Advanced Beginner / Easy
GAUGE:
6 rows and 7 stitches in HDC using 4 mm hook =
2” x 2” or 5 cm x 5 cm.
Adjust hook size up or down or change to a thicker or thinner yarn to reach gauge. You may also loosen or tighten your tension. Please take some time and check the gauge as the exact size of the hat will vary based on your own crochet style.
